Williams Institute of Texas delivers online theory education in animal care, safety, and veterinary office procedures. Through partnered veterinary clinics and animal care facilities, students gain hands-on experience to prepare for entry-level veterinary assistant roles and national certification eligibility.

As students progress through online education, Williams Institute of Texas coordinates clinical placement opportunities through partnered medical offices and healthcare facilities. Clinical hours are completed separately from online coursework.

After successfully completing online education and clinical hours, students graduate from the program and may be eligible to apply for national certification exams, including:

  • National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA)
    • Approved Veterinary Assistant (AVA)
  • Other national Veterinary Assistant certifications
    (eligibility depends on program structure and certifying body requirements)

Graduates may then pursue entry-level employment in healthcare settings.
